What is a Prescription Assistance Program? (PAP)

Prescription Assistance Programs (PAPs) are programs that offer free or near-free drugs to individuals who are unable to pay for their medications and are set up by the Pharmaceutical companies themselves.

You will usually qualify for free medications if:
1) You have no prescription insurance.
2) You can no longer afford prescriptions. (financially stressed)
3) You are a U.S. citizen.

Each drug manufacturer has their own set of qualifiers and forms to fill out in order to receive assistance. Sadly, only a few of those that fill in the forms themselves are ever successful. Why? Because the intentional form document requirements are often daunting and it only takes one missing or incorrectly filled out form to be disqualified for prescription assistance.

What we do is... help

Put simply, we make sure your application for prescription assistance results in you receiving free (or nearly free) medications. Our non-profit organization has catalogued and maintains an updated library of forms and form qualifications for the sole purpose of helping you get free name-brand medications delivered to your doctor on an ongoing basis.

We act as an agent on your behalf to collect and provide all the information needed to fill out each of the required forms (usually 3 forms per script) and submit them to the various pharmaceutical companies as your advocate. We are able to do this through scores of volunteers and a data center located in Conyers GA. (Research Associates) where the forms are processed.

The prescriptions are free. And yet, there is a cost...

Our primary goal is to assist those that could not otherwise afford their prescribed medications, and while we are a non-profit organization, there are still real-world expenses associated with our efforts and so in order to benefit others we must charge a nominal fee.

In short, there are 2 costs:

  1. A one-time $100 application fee per household.(refunded if you don't get free meds)
  2. $15 per monthly script.

Thats it.

These fees help us cover ongoing maintenance costs, form re-submissions and printing, data entry operators, telephone/fax fees, office consumables, U.S. mail postage fees etc.

Per household means that everyone living at your location can benefit and receive free name-brand medications...of course, they must still qualify, but the odds are very much in your favor they will qualify if you already have!. They do not have to be a family member, but must reside at the same address.

Your savings can be truly life-saving

Savings Example: Two people, 5 scripts each, national average cost/script: $94.00
